Turtle Lake is one of the most pristine, picturesque lakes in northern Minnesota.
The 21 miles of wilderness shoreline offers nature lovers the chance to view the largest population of nesting bald eagles in the continental U.S., as well as an abundance of loons, a variety of ducks, geese, grouse, black bear, timber wolves, deer, moose and other native wildlife.

Turtle Lake's 2,066 acres of deep, clear water offers an exciting challenge to anglers seeking trophy smallmouth bass or walleye. The Lake also has an abundance of northern pike, largemouth bass and pan fish. The many islands and bays provide some of Minnesota's most exciting fishing!
